Hosted by our Women\u2019s President, Regina Gaujers<\/strong>, the 2025 Women\u2019s President\u2019s Trophy was played under cool and occasionally damp conditions, as light showers swept across the course to get the game underway.<\/p>\n

The event marked another key Women\u2019s fixture for the year and welcomed a strong turnout of players who braved the wintry weather with great spirit. Regina\u2019s warm hospitality ensured a memorable day for all involved, both on and off the course.<\/p>\n

The competition was fierce, but it was Julie Garland-Cribbon<\/strong> who rose to the top, claiming the President\u2019s Trophy \u2013 this year, a beautiful hamper full of goodies. Julie delivered an outstanding round, scoring 42 points<\/strong> to just edge out a tightly packed leaderboard, with Lina Cui<\/strong> hot on her heels with 41 points<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On the North Course<\/strong>, it was Kay Webse<\/strong>\u00a0who claimed top honours with 37 points on countback<\/strong>, just ahead of Sally Bakker<\/strong>, also on 37 points, and Myra Cooperwhite<\/strong>, who took third \u2013 also with 37 points! The thrilling finish on both courses was a testament to the depth of talent and competitive spirit in our women\u2019s golf community.<\/p>\n

The Main Course hosted 111 players<\/strong>, with a further 34 members<\/strong> teeing it up on the North Course. A big congratulations to all the women for braving the winter conditions and making it such a successful day!<\/p>\n
