On Thursday 12th March 2020 the annual Female Members Opening Day for the Daisy Savage Bowl was held. The format of the day was Four-Ball Stableford with 186 playing on the Main Course and 34 on the North Course. Following a beautiful day out on the course, presentations were held in the Main Bar with members of the General Committee, past Female Presidents and various sub committee members all present. Sheila Klimczyk recognised Elizabeth Black’s 50 years of membership at Lake Karrinyup.\u00a0 Elizabeth was presented with her milestone 50 year badge. Before the days winners were announced, President Graeme Pepper presented the Member\u2019s Trophy to Sheila Klimczyk and Regina Gaujers introducing the trophy into play for the 2020 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Winners on the Main Course with 46 points were Dy Fripp and Wendy Naude
\nRunners up with 45 points on a count back were Sonja Higgins and Fiona Wildy.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A special mention and presentation was made to Transitional members Nicole Swain and Lena Kaptein who had a staggering 53 points however were ineligible to be outright winners.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Winners on the North Course with 46 points were Leone Lorian and Henriette Maron
\nRunners up with 44 points were Pat Stapledon and Louise Dickson<\/p>\n
Following presentations the ladies\u2019 enjoyed a lovely dinner in the dining room which was filled with lots of laughter, friends and cherished memories.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
