{"id":14838,"date":"2016-12-01T14:13:38","date_gmt":"2016-12-01T06:13:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lkcc.com.au\/cms\/?p=14838"},"modified":"2023-06-20T14:36:08","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:36:08","slug":"2016-club-breakfast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test07.miclub.com.au\/cms\/2016\/12\/01\/2016-club-breakfast\/","title":{"rendered":"2016 Club Breakfast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Sunday 27<sup>th<\/sup> November the 69<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Club Breakfast was again held at the club with 72 members enjoying the traditional breakfast in the Bistro together with the ever popular \u201cPaxton\u2019s Punch\u201d famously named after the events founder Mr Roy Paxton.<\/p>\n<p>A highlight of the breakfast was having present Mrs Betty Ahern &amp; Mrs Elaine Adams aged 99 &amp; 93. \u00a0It is their Husbands that created the first club breakfast 69 years ago Mr Roy Paxton &amp; Mr Tom Ahern, hence the famous \u201cPaxton&#8217;s Punch\u201d.
