On “Easter Monday” April 6, the 2026 Easter Cup Invitational was played, returning to the historic, Men’s fixtured event.
As an invitational, North Course Waitlist Members were encouraged to participate in the event with their fellow Main Course members as introductory members, further solidifying their engagement within our membership.
Playing Individual Par, 127 members and their guests took to the course for a 7:45am shotgun start.
Golfers experienced light breezes, perfect for scoring, however, intermittent drizzle made the conditions slightly more challenging. Of the field, only nine players were able to break their handicap.
Taking out best gross of the day was Cameron Burbridge with a wonderful score of 71 off the stick and collected a LKCC Driver Headcover, whilst our quiet achieving Captain, Garry Kurtz came in with a brilliant score of +3, placing outright second and winning himself a LKCC Canvas Backpack.
However, cleaning up and taking home a Titleist Links Legend Golf Bag (as well as all the choccies) was Matt Allen (6) with an incredible score of +4!
A big thank you to Head Chef, Gio, the wonderful catering team and the hospitality team LKCC for putting on yet another memorable day at the Club.
