The annual President’s vs Captain’s Team Event was contested by 123 players across the Main and North courses in an American Foursomes Stableford format. Each pair competed for a single point towards their respective team totals.
On the Main Course, Jane Abbott and Jenny Simpson delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 41 points for the President’s Team. Meanwhile, and on the North Course, Kaye Mills and Angelene Rose led the Captain’s Team with a commendable 37 points.
The President’s Team emerged victorious on the day by a narrow margin, to take a 1up lead in the overall standings.
Proceeds from our Annual Charity Day were presented to this year’s selected children’s charities: Parkerville Children and Youth Care, Spectrum Space and Dr Louisa Alessandri Memorial Fund. Representatives from the three organisations expressed deep gratitude for the generosity of the Lake Karrinyup Country Club community.
Following the competition, participants enjoyed a sumptuous buffet lunch and warm fellowship, rounding off a successful and meaningful day.
